I posted a 1968 Nixon ad, aiming for the youth vote (and, amazingly, featuring acid freak Jerry Garcia), yesterday which proved very popular. So here's another, this time from 1972, and from Democrats for Nixon--hitting opponent George McGovern on his dovish plans for cutting military spending. Of course, this wasn't quite accurate--which surely would not stop the Romney camp from borrowing this concept this fall. (For my Nixon book, see rail at right on this blog.)
