Sen. Mark Warner of Va. who has an "A" rating from the NRA just said Newtown is a "game changer" and he wants some new laws. ABC poll finds 54% want stricter gun law--a five-year high.
Also: Blue dog Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin--the gun lovin' favorite of a gun crazed state--came out today for at least some new gun control laws. We noted earlier that Joe Scarborough today said he is changing course, but he also had Manchin on his show, and the senator made some concessions after the Newtown massacre. He also tweeted that no hunger needs 30 rounds to fire rapidly. This is same guy who made famous vid in 2010 where he shot up bill on climate change:
